Our Process for Remodeling

We pride ourselves on giving our clients the best experience possible. This is why we have developed over the years this 7 Phase Process. It takes us from our very first interaction with a new client all the way to the end result.

Initial Meeting

(1-2 weeks)

A new client will contact us wanting to schedule a meeting for us to come look at their project. We are typically 1-2 weeks out from initial contact to when we can come out. At this meeting we will gather all the information we need to get started on an initial estimate and design.

Estimating

(2-3 weeks)

We begin designing and estimating shortly after our initial meeting. We might need to bring some of our trade partners out to look at the client’s project to give us an accurate quote for the work. We will get the client’s approval on the design before we begin estimating.

Proposal

(Timeline to make decision)

This is when the client has the time to make a decision about moving forward after we’ve given our full job proposal and estimate. We typically come back out to discuss and clarify any details of our job proposal that needs further clarification. As our client’s make decisions to move forward, we place them in the line up as we receive confirmation. The timeline to start their job will vary based on how many jobs we have going at the time and how many jobs have said yes to move forward first.

Pre-Construction

(4-8 weeks)

The client has made the decision to move forward and we begin the pre-remodel work. This includes signing our remodeling agreement, going to our vendors to make final selections on their finishes, and us getting all material ordered before we begin demo. The timeline for this is based on how quickly the client can make decisions on finishes and how far our material is.

Remodeling

(4-16 weeks)

The client will need to prep their house for us to be able to work in any and all areas of their house. This will include moving furniture, clothes, emptying cabinets, and moving out entirely in full house remodel cases. Smaller jobs will run on the shorter end of the timeline while full house remodels will be on the longer end of the timeline.

Final Touch Ups

(1-2 weeks)

This happens at the end of every job where our team and the client will walk through the remodel and make notes of small items that need to be touched up or addressed. Depending on how many touch ups will determine how long this phase takes.

Moving In

(1-2 weeks)

We are completely done with all touch ups and it is time to move back into the client’s bedroom, kitchen, or entire house. During this time we might have some lingering items that we’ll continue to address until completed.
